Pharrell Williams wants everyone to get lucky—at winning a wholesome game, of course.
During his 2025 Met Gala after-party on May 5, the “Feels” star—who served as a co-chair at the fashion event alongside Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton and Vogue’s Anna Wintour—treated his guests to several rounds of Uno.
Many celebrities who walked on the Met steps—including Kim Kardashian, Halle Bailey, Ciara, Pusha T and more—changed into their nighttime couture to attend the rapper’s post-gala party at the Crane Club in New York. And while they probably didn’t expect to see the game laid out on several tables, the crowd didn’t waste time in drawing their cards.
After all, the low-stakes game had some high-priced awards. According to Vogue, guests could win one of four luxurious prizes: a Richard Mille watch, Tiffany & Co. diamond earrings, a custom varsity jacket designed by Pharrell himself or a Louis Vuitton trunk.
The last gift is fitting, considering the Neptunes alum—who shares 16-year-old Rocket Ayer Williams and 8-year-old triplets with wife Helen Lasichanh—became the brand’s menswear creative director in 2023.
As the night went on, the circle of potential winners shrunk to four finalists, including Aris Rachevsky and model Paloma Elsesser. But it was actor Aris—boyfriend of Heidi Klum’s only daughter Leni Klum—who took home the victory and chose the Richard Mille watch as his prize.
And it seems Uno is Pharrell’s go-to following a fashion couture evening.
“The prizes are pretty crazy,” Nami Nori co-founder Jihan Lee, whose restaurant catered the party, told Vogue. “I was lucky enough to join the first Uno tournament after the Louis Vuitton show in January, but this is really about re-embracing childhood memories. Playing Uno brings out the child in everyone, and I love to see it.”
And while Pharrell offered a relaxing night time game, he and Helen served a monochromatic tailored glam at the Met. The rapper wore a white, pearl-studded Louis Vuitton jacket and black trousers while his wife paired her LV coat with a black bustier bodysuit.
