Dylan Efron’s girlfriend has always been a faithful.
In fact, Courtney King was one reason Dylan—whose older brother is Zac Efron—decided to join season three of The Traitors, streaming on Peacock.
As he exclusively told E! News, “She’s always pushed me to put myself out there more.”
“She’s always kind of said, ‘You should do something like this,’ because even on social media, I’m known on there, but people don’t really see my personality,” Dylan continued, sharing his girlfriend explained to him, “If people could see your personality, they’d fall in love with you like I did.”
And while Dylan has always been “out of the limelight” in comparison to Zac, he shared that his girlfriend’s support has remained constant.
“Nothing’s really changed,” he said. “She’s always been my number one support.”
Dylan’s high school sweetheart Courtney, has appeared on his Instagram since 2016, and while he hasn’t shared much about their relationship publicly, he recently revealed he’s ready for the next steps.
“I am now in that stage of I’m looking at the next chapter. I want kids,” Dylan said on The Viall Files March 7. “I got a little brother and sister who are 4 and 5 now, so I got to see the joy of them growing up and I want that for myself too.”
And while Dylan shared that marriage is in his future plans, he noted that there’s no rush.
“We’re 33,” he said. “She’s not going to put a deadline on it.”
In the meantime, Courtney is still Dylan’s hype-woman, taking many of the photos his fans are drooling over.
“My girlfriend took the photo,” Dylan told Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview on E! News’ The Rundown, referring to an August Instagram post. “This was more that I’m trying to make her laugh as she’s taking photos.”
Dylan laughed off the picture in question, which he explained was in the middle of a set of photos in the post. However, it didn’t take long for his new fan club to come across the “thirst trap.”
“I was like, ‘Ah, I never posted that, it’s kinda funny,’” he joked. “I hid it in a carousel and then the show comes out. It was found out pretty quick.”
