Hollywood’s biggest night is officially over.
The 2025 Oscars kicked off with a star-studded red carpet at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on March 2. (See every star at the Academy Awards here.)
And before celebs headed inside for the ceremony—hosted by Conan O’Brien—they stopped by the Academy’s portrait studio to take stunning photos, which E! News can exclusively share with you.
Indeed, stars like Elle Fanning—wearing a gorgeous outfit by Givenchy—struck a pose in the studio, as did Zoe Saldaña, Bowen Yang, Colman Domingo and Felicity Jones.
And Saldaña went on to show off her radiant red gown from the stage when she took home the trophy for Best Supporting Actress, thanking her husband Marco Perego in her acceptance speech.
“To my husband with that beautiful hair. The biggest honor of my life is being your partner,” she shared. “You hung the moon in our beautiful perfect sons, Cy, Bowie and Zen. They fill our sky every night with stars.”
So, who else hit the Oscars red carpet? Timothée Chalamet, who received an Actor in a Leading Role nomination for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, was seen mingling with fellow celebs on his milestone night.
Indeed, getting a nod for this role was extra special for Chalamet and his A Complete Unknown family.
“I am enormously honored by this distinction,” he said in a January statement. “But most sincerely, I am OVERJOYED for the production’s recognition today!”
“I am so grateful for Monica Barbaro and Edward Norton’s dedication to bring the folk icons Pete Seeger and Joan Baez to life,” Chalamet continued. “I am privileged to have worked alongside my friend Elle Fanning who is truly a generational talent.”
Along with the production team, Chalamet also gave a shoutout to the man who inspired the film.
“None of this would have been possible,” he concluded, “without the incredible artist, poet, thinker, extraordinary unknown that is Mr. Bob Dylan (and Jeff Rosen for giving me the keys to the tour bus). For our film to be recognized by the Academy in this way is a testament to Bob’s lasting legacy.”
In addition to Chalamet, Colman Domingo, Ralph Fiennes, Sebastian Stan and Adrien Brody were nominated for Best Actor this year, with Brody taking home the gold.
