Jason Kennedy and his family are breathing a sigh of relief.

The former E! News host and his wife Lauren Scruggs Kennedy shared an update on their son Ryver Rhodes, 2, following his hospitalization for a mysterious infection.

“All clear to recover at home – thank you for praying and sending encouraging messages,” the couple—who also share daughter Poppy Ford, 16 months—captioned a joint Instagram video Feb. 27. “I’ve interviewed every rockstar but none as great as the PICU Doctors and Nurses from Venture County Medical Center. Angels in my book.”

In the sweet clip, Lauren is seen holding her son as he blows kisses at off-screen medical staff and Jason tells him, “Say, ‘I love you guys, thank you!’ Ryv, say ‘thank you!'”

“COMPLETE ANGELS and you are an angel and rio is an angel!!!!” Lauren commented on the post, adding, “so much love and gratefulness.”

The encouraging update came one day after Jason, 43, and Lauren, 36, shared that Ryver had been in the hospital for two days after coming down with an infection that doctors couldn’t quite figure out.

“If you could say a prayer for our boy Ryver it would mean a lot,” the couple—who have been married for 11 years—wrote. “Day 2 in pediatric intensive care, the infection is leaving doctors perplexed and we are hopeful for more answers today.”

Jason also reshared the post to his Instagram Story with Vertical Worship‘s song, “Yes I Will,” playing in the background.

“Gutting to see him in this kind of pain,” he added. “This song has been our anthem.”

Ryver’s hospitalization came just a few weeks after Lauren had alluded to another recent health scare with her son.
