Bruce Willis‘ spirit remains unbreakable despite his health challenges.
The Die Hard actor, who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in 2023, appears smiling in a new photo showing him sitting on a lawn chair in between his and ex Demi Moore‘s daughters Tallulah Willis, 31, and Scout Willis, 34. (Bruce and Demi are also parents to 37-year-old daughter Rumer Willis.)
“Belated tidings,” Scout captioned her Sept. 17 Instagram pic, “from a summer of wonder.”
This rare glimpse of the 70-year-old comes shortly after his wife Emma Heming Willis revealed that he’s living apart from her and their kids Mabel Willis, 13, and Evelyn Willis, 11, amid his dementia battle.
“It was a hard decision for us but that was the safest and best decision, not just for Bruce but also for our two young girls,” Emma explained during a Sept. 9 appearance on Good Morning America. “It’s really not up for a debate.”
The Red actor’s wife added, “Now I know that Bruce has the best care, 100 percent of the time. His needs are met 100 percent of the time.”
Indeed, Bruce’s loved ones are putting his health first and ignoring any online chatter.
“As a family we use our discretion when posting,” Tallulah wrote on Instagram in June. “Today was a great day filled with smiles.”
She continued, “I made the judgement call to show that to the world, because I know what he means to everyone.”
