Bachelor Fans React to Grant Ellis’ Final Four Contestants After Shocking Elimination

Watch:The Bachelor’s Grant Ellis Reveals Any Regrets on First Impression Rose Winner (Exclusive)

Grant Ellis is one step closer to his happy ending.

The Bachelor season 29 frontman narrowed down his final four in Scotland during the show’s Feb. 24 episode. Zoe McGrady, Litia Garr, Dina Lupancu and Juliana Pasquarosa, all secured their place in the hometowns portion of the series, but Grant’s final four roses were not passed out without a drama-filled lead up.

Despite Alexe-Anne Godwin establishing herself as a frontrunner early on the season—even receiving the first impression rose—she was sent home, much to the disappointment of Bachelor fans.

As one fan wrote to X, “Shocked I literally thought Alexe was kinda end game.”

Indeed, Grant had at least teased as much earlier in the season, telling E! News of his decision to give Alexe his first impression rose, “That night was meant for her and I really don’t know if I had any runners-up.”

Rest assured; some fans are already vying for Alexe to be the next star of The Bachelorette.

Meanwhile, Sarafiena Watkins and Carolina Sofía also got the boot, but fans were much more pleased to at least see Carolina get the axe after several over-the-top moments throughout the season. After all, Carolina has proved to be as close as it gets to a Bachelor villain in season 29—often starting drama to gain the attention and affections of Grant.

And during the Feb. 24 episode, she even created a theme song to go along with her persona.

When contestants Zoe, Dina, Sarafiena and Alexe-Anne called her out on her attitude duringa group date with the leading man, Carolina swiftly exited the room, singing, “I guess I’m crazy and evil!”

Other followers of Bachelor Nation were surprised to see Zoe receive a rose, despite having limited one-on-one time with Grant.

One fan expressed such feelings on X, writing, “If you thought Zoe was going to get a hometown over Alexe, Sarafiena, or even Carolina, I’m going to assume you’ve read all the spoilers for this season because WOW, what a shocking upset.”

Of course, Grant quelled at least Zoe’s anxiety about going home before the rose ceremony even began. When the New York City-based engineer expressed her disappointment over the time they’d had together to the Bachelor himself earlier in the episode, he assured he was already certain of his feelings for her, saying, “All it takes is one conversation.”

As for what to expect from hometowns? Litia has already teased Grant with a dive into her Mormon roots when they head to Utah. And the former professional basketball player will also head to the Big Apple with Zoe, Chicago with Dina and Massachusetts with Juliana.

And while Grant had some difficult decisions to make in the latest episode, he previously shared that he was floored by all the women in his season.

“I think everybody was genuine, everyone was unique and everybody was willing to be open,” he expressed to Good Morning America last month. “And there’s a little bit of drama—that’s what happens when there’s emotions involved—but I think we come to a resolution.”
