Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian are keeping Jesus Guerreo’s memory alive.
Days after it was announced that the hairstylist, who worked with their sister Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and more, had died at the age of 34, the Kardashians stars each penned emotional tributes. For Kim, it was a heartfelt reflection about how much the “glam fam” of hair and makeup professionals who travel around the world with her and her sisters mean to them.
“Our great respect for the art of hair and make up has led us to meeting some of the kindest souls and made some of our bestest friends,” Kim wrote on her Feb. 24 Instagram stories, alongside a photo of Jesus sitting alongside a pregnant Kylie, as well as other members of the glam team and Kim, Khloé, Kourtney Kardashian and their mom Kris Jenner. “So when one of our glam family members passes away all of our souls are crushed.”
“My heart breaks for Kylie and everyone who loved Jesus the way we all did,” she continued. “I’m praying for his family, his loved ones and the world beauty community who feels this deep loss of one of the most talented and kindest to ever do it. Rest in peace @jesushair.”
Khloé reshared Kim’s post on her own Instagram Story and credited her sister for articulating her feelings.
“I couldn’t find the words this weekend but this is exactly how we all feel,” the Good American founder wrote. “We become family with our glam teams, and we share so much of our lives with them. We are also intertwined and in love with one another. This is such an incredible deep loss.”
Kylie has yet to speak out about Jesus’ death. Jesus’ sister Gris confirmed his death in a Feb. 22 GoFundMe post.
“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” the 26-year-old wrote. “He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more. Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top.”
“Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly,” the statement continued. “Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston.”
No cause of death has been shared. Following the news of his passing, many of Jesus’ colleagues and friends shared their condolences.
“Heartbroken to hear about the passing of @jesushair,” Kim’s long-time hairstylist Chris Appleton, wrote on his Instagram Story. “His talent was undeniable, and his creativity was always ahead of its time. He had a way of making hair an art form, and his passion inspired so many.”

“I’m at such a loss for words,” the makeup artist shared on Instagram. “From the moment I met Jesus I fell in love with him. You couldn’t help it. He was the absolute kindest most authentic person I have ever met. Not only because of his insane talent but because just simply being in his presence was a gift.”
