SAG Awards 2025: You Know You Love Kristen Bell & Leighton Meester’s Epic Gossip Girl Reunion

All the Upper East Siders out there are about to be shook.

Former Gossip Girl costar Kristen Bell and Leighton Meester proved they still know what you love by reuniting for a hilarious skit during the SAG Awards 2025 ceremony on Feb. 23. (See every star on the SAG Awards red carpet here.)

The actresses reprised their beloved roles from the hit CW drama—Bell’s Gossip GIrl and Meester’s Blair Waldorf—while introducing the cast of Conclave, who were nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture (See the full list of 2025 SAG winners here.)

“Hey, everyone, Gossip Girl here,” Bell—who served as host for the Netflix telecast—announced while hiding among the audience members inside the Shrine Arena in Los Angeles. “Jeff Goldblum has a wicked appetite and a peek behind the curtain reveals he likes his green eggs with ham.”

But Goldblum wasn’t the only celebrity on Gossip Girl’s fake list of stars to expose.

“And look who it is,” Bell continued. “Not-so-lonely boy Timothée Chalamet sitting next to a hot steak medium rare au Poivre with a side of broc…”

When the camera finally landed on Bell and Meester, the jig was up.

“Wait, Leighton, none of this is gossip,” Bell hilariously reprimanded her longtime pal. “It’s all food.”

Meester’s response? “I’m sorry,” she replied while shoving a dinner roll in her mouth. “I’m just really hungry.”

Bell then quipped, “The popes in Conclave were better at gossiping than us, I think we should pass the torch,” to which Meester agreed with, “Amen.”

Bell and Meester will be spending a lot more time together in the coming year as it was announced earlier this week that Meester is joining season two of Netflix’s hit comedy Nobody Wants This, which just so happens to also star Meester’s real-life husband Adam Brody. And Meester even recently gave her stamp of approval for the “hot rabbi” nickname her man earned with his role in the series.

“He is able to embody that because he’s hot, OK? I said it,” she exclusively told E! News this month. “And also because he’s truly a wonderful person who was able to bring so much humor and humanity to that role and really make that character and bring a bit of himself to it.”
