Kardashian-Barker Relative Knocked Out of The Masked Singer During Shrek Night Elimination

Fuzzy Peas has officially been knocked out of the competition.

One of the greatest boxers of all time was eliminated during The Masked Singer‘s Feb. 19 episode.

Prior to the sports star’s not-so-winning performance during Shrek Night, the mystery celebrity teased his connection to one of the Dreamworks film’s most beloved characters.

“If there’s anyone that can capture the charisma of Shrek’s sidekick Puss ‘n Boots, it is I, Fuzzy Peas,” he revealed in a pre-recorded video package. “We’re both scrappy, known to throw down in any fight and oh so charming.”

Fuzzy Peas’ personal life—and former bachelor lifestyle—then became the focus of his clues.

“Since I hit the scene, I’ve been enchanting the eda-mamas left and right,” the athlete continued. “I thought I’d never settle down, until I saw her face and everything changed. At first, I thought, ‘Am I losing my mojo?’ But looking into her smile and her big, beautiful eyes, I felt something I had never felt before: True love. She made me a believer. And now, I believe everyone can find their fairytale ending.”

The Masked Singer‘s Most Memorable Unmaskings

But after taking the stage to perform Smash Mouth‘s cover of “I’m a Believer” from the movie’s soundtrack, Fuzzy Peas landed in the bottom and was sent home.

But before his unmasking, the judges made their final guesses about his true identity.

Based on dog clues from his pre-package, Rita Ora picked Cesar Millan while Ken Jeong chose Pitbull. Meanwhile, Jenny McCarthy, inspired by a clue of Spain, doubled down on Antonio Banderas and Robin Thicke guessed John Leguizamo.

But all four were incorrect.

The boxer behind the verdant vegetable costume was Olympic gold medalist and 11-time world champion Oscar De La Hoya.

“It’s a lot of fun,” the 52-year-old told fans upon his departure. “Behind the mask, you can hide from the world—be yourself and have fun. I loved it!”

Oscar also has a surprising connection to the Kardashian-Jenner family, as his daughter Atiana De La Hoya—who he shares with Shanna Moakler—is stepdaughter to Travis Barker.

Following Travis’ 2022 marriage to Kourtney Kardashian, Atiana has been brought into their blended family, with Kourtney lovingly calling the 25-year-old a “bonus” kid to her, along with Travis and Shanna’s children Landon, 21, and Alabama, 19.
