Bradley Cooper is passing down his limitless love for the Eagles.
The Silver Linings Playbook actor was one of many fans celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles’ win against the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LIX Feb. 9. But what made it even more special for him was getting witness their epic victory with his daughter Lea, 7—who he shares with ex Irina Shayk—at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome.
“I’m just one of thousands and thousands that get the opportunity to love this team and live for this team, be a part of Philadelphia,” Bradley told Fox Sports: NFL after the game. “I used to come with my dad and now I get to bring my daughter, it’s just a beautiful thing in life.”
“It’s a miracle,” he added. “I’m so blessed to be here and I love this team so much. What a squad.”
And since the American Sniper star has been known to be one of the Eagles’ most committed superfans, he had the great honor of calling his favorite team onto the field after Jon Hamm introduced the Chiefs at the beginning of the game.
“From the city of brotherly love,” Bradley shouted into the mic with 8-year-old Eagles fan Declan LeBaron, “your 2024 NFC Champions—The E-A-G-L-E-S!”
Even before the Super Bowl, the A Star Is Born actor and his daughter did their part in cheering on his hometown team as they advanced to the big game. At the Jan. 26 NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders—the Eagles took home the win—the pair walked the field while waving at and hyping up the crowd. (Bradley also recently attended an Eagles game with girlfriend Gigi Hadid.)
And after the Eagles won the Vince Lombardi trophy at the Super Bowl, the birds’ coach Nick Sirianni expressed just how thankful he was for all the support while sharing the most adorable moment with his family. As his eyes filled with tears, Nick shared a sweet hug and kiss with his wife Brett Ashley Cantwell before turning to his sons Jacob, 9, and Miles, 4, and picking up his youngest.
“E-A-G-L-E-S,” they chanted in the Feb. 9 post-game interview with Fox Sports, “Eagles!”
The team’s quarterback Jalen Hurts also shared an emotional moment with his fiancée Bry Burrows on the field, embracing her while they celebrated his first-ever Super Bowl win. And along with Bry cheering him on, he had his teammates to thank.
“I’m still processing it,” Jaylen told NFL on FOX after the game. “I couldn’t do any of these things without my guys around me. We got a special group this year. We were able to learn from the past and get some new nice pieces and get over that hump.”
