Word on the street is that Monique Samuels is back.
The Real Housewives of Potomac alum makes a surprise return to the Bravo series in E! News’ exclusive first look at the season 10 trailer.
The reason for Monique’s comeback? A bombshell rumor about costar Stacey Rusch‘s love life involving Monique’s ex.
As Ashley Darby says in the Aug. 28 first look, “Stacey’s been trying to get with Chris Samuels.”
Cut to Monique—who left the show in 2020 after season five following a physical fight with fellow alum Candiace Dillard Bassett—making her grand entrance and announcing, “Yeah, my ex-husband, we not doing that.”
Monique then has a reunion with Wendy Osefo, who jokes, “Last time I saw you, you had a binder,” referencing her season five reunion receipts.
But that isn’t the only rumor Stacey will have to answer for this season. The teaser shows her reuniting with estranged husband Thiemo Rusch—with whom she shares 9-year-old daughter Arabella—following her season nine breakup from now ex-boyfriend TJ Jones.
After Stacey tells Thiemo, “I’m committed to you and I’m committed to our family,” her castmates have shocked reactions to her seemingly rekindled romance.
As Gizelle Bryant exclaims, “This bitch ain’t even divorced?!” to which Wendy replies with, “I know she didn’t just bring TJ around just to get back with her man. Oh my god.”
Gizelle later has a heated confrontation with Stacey in which she yells, “You lied for a year, Stacey!”
The trailer also teases some fresh faces joining RHOP. Enter new Housewives Tia Glover and Angel Massie, who certainly make a splash with the other women.
And, speaking of familiar faces, Mauricio Umansky—the estranged husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Kyle Richards—also makes a surprising (and seemingly flirty) cameo.
