Ashlee Simpson Ross is showing pieces of her room renovation.
The “Pieces of Me” singer and her husband of 11 years Evan Ross unveiled the results of their 3-year-old son Ziggy Blu Ross‘ bedroom makeover—and the adorable changes from Pottery Barn Kids could not be more perfect.
In one photo of the room, Ashlee, 40, sat opposite her little one in two tan leather swivel chairs situated in the center of the space, which also included a coffee table with a model train track on top, a green checkered rug and a TV. Elsewhere in the new living quarters, a mini guitar, a stuffed polar bear, wicker crates to hold the kiddo’s Minecraft Collection toys and a colorful backpack were on display.
And that’s not the only part of the room that has stolen Ziggy’s heart. In a second shot, he was seen climbing up the ladder of his Pottery Barn Kids Tree House Twin-Over-Twin Bunk Bed unit to collect a picture book from his 9-year-old sister Jagger Snow Ross.
For his parents, Ziggy’s new room—which is complete with forest green wall accents, wood tones and Birch wallpaper to create an outdoor feel inspired by the time their family spent living in Switzerland and Norway—was a much-needed upgrade for their growing boy.
“It’s a big milestone moment moving from the nursery to a big boy room,” Ashlee—who also shares Bronx Mowgli Wentz, 15, with ex Pete Wentz—said in a statement. “He loves blocks and building, so it’s a great space for him to be able to do that.”
And Evan, 37, echoed that sentiment, sharing that his son is “all about building his creations.”
The musician added, “It’s a perfect little area for him to play.”
Another activity Ziggy can certainly do in his new room? Put on a concert for his friends and family.
After all, Evan previously shared that Ziggy, Jagger and Bronx are all just as musically inclined as their parents.
“They all can sing. They all can dance,” he told E! News in 2023. “It’s a bit ridiculous. I think they’re all gonna be superstars.”
