Are you ready for it?

Jan Ravnik—who gained attention as a backup dancer on TaylorSwift‘s Eras Tour and subsequent concert movie—is joining the cast of Dancing with the Stars as a pro dancer for the upcoming 34th season, set to premiere Sept. 16.

“I traveled all around the world with the Eras Tour and now I’m coming to the ballroom stage with Dancing With the Stars,” he announced on the Aug. 28 episode of Good Morning America. “The Mirrorball never goes out of style and we are ready to win it.”

The Los Angeles-based dancer and choreographer was one of 16 dancers to grace the stage with the Grammy winner for her nearly two-year long tour—an opportunity he was thankful for from the start.

“I’m beyond grateful to be part of @taylorswift Eras Tour,” he wrote via Instagram in March 2023 alongside photos from his first show. “Still can’t put into words how I feel after yesterdays opening night!”

He continued, “I never thought that small town boy from Slovenia could come so far, but here we are.”

Other names set to join DWTS this fall? Robert Irwin and Alix Earle, as well as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt, will be among the star-studded cast of competitors, with the rest of the celebrities and professionals to be announced in September.

And already pro couple Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy think they know who may go home with the Mirrorball Trophy: the son of the legendary Steve Irwin himself.

“There’s something about positivity and energy, and his is contagious,” Jenna told E! News on Aug. 7 of the wildlife conservationist. “It just is. And they’re such a great family. So I’m just excited to watch his journey. He is going to be an incredible personality on our show.”

And it doesn’t hurt that Robert’s big sister Bindi Irwin already has some experience taking home the prize.

“We’ve been such big fans of Robert Irwin since he was little, coming on set to watch Bindi perform,” Jenna recalled, adding that of all the new cast members, “It will be really interesting to see how the audience interacts and responds to them.”
