Reality fans rejoice, MomTok is coming back to television screens sooner than you think.
Hulu’s reality hit The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is officially returning for season four this March, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. In a first-look teaser, the Utah-based influencers turned reality stars are finally sharing a behind-the-scenes look at their recent ventures ranging from The Bachelorette to Dancing With The Stars.
The series centers around MomTok, a group of young women made up of castmembers Taylor Frankie Paul (also next season’s Bachelorette lead for ABC), Whitney Leavitt, Layla Taylor, Jen Affleck, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Draper, Miranda Hope and Demi Engemann.
In the teaser, Taylor begins by telling the viewers she’s so proud of the women of MomTok as Leavitt and Affleck prepare for Dancing With The Stars and Paul’s announcement of her participation in The Bachelorette is revealed. The latter makes for a particularly catty comment later in the trailer — “Is she going to be a pregnant Bachelorette?” — said right after the teaser shows shots of Paul crying and fighting with someone on the phone.
“The stakes for MomTok are at an all-time high as their sisterhood faces the forces of their expanding fame. When Taylor is announced as The Bachelorette and Jen and Whitney head to Dancing with the Stars, competition creates chaos, temptations arise and tradition turns upside down,” a synopsis for season four reads.
The synopsis continues, “Up against unraveling marriages, personal demons and family secrets, they must choose to lean on each other or face their fates untethered and alone on the world’s stage. Will the women remain loyal to their sisterhood to save it? Or will MomTok shatter forever?”
All 10 episodes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season four premiere on March 12th on Hulu and Disney+ for U.S. subscribers and on Disney+ in select international markets.
