Kate Middleton is showing off her princess skills.
Indeed, the Princess of Wales, 43, can add her effortless hairstyling abilities to her list of talents. While on a royal visit to a local mill in Cuxton, England on Sept. 11, Kate tried her hand at screen printing, sporting an apron to protect her sleek black shirt from getting messy. To get her hair out of the way before getting her hands dirty, she simply pulled up her hair, twisted it and then formed it into a bun, tucking in the remaining her into the updo without using a clip, hair tie or anything other than her own locks—all in under 15 seconds.
In the comment section of a video showing off the skill, viewers were amazed by her natural abilities.
“There’s nothing this woman can’t do perfectly because girl… how did she do it?!?” one wrote, while another added, “Looks like this is something she does all the time. And it doesn’t look messy.”
Others were perplexed by how Kate managed to get her hair to stay put without the use of any tools, one social media user quipping, “I keep rewatching but still can’t figure it out.”
Kate’s hair has been in the spotlight more than usual lately, as her blonde hair transformation recently stunned the public.
After it seemed Kate had noticeably lighter locks while in the car on the way to a church service on Aug. 24 in Scotland with husband Prince William and kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, the Princess of Wales officially stepped out with the new look while visiting the Natural History Museum in London on Sept. 4, when she styled her light caramel locks in her signature waves to accompany a fall-inspired outfit consisting of a neutral blazer over a white button down, black pants and khaki-brown flats.
However, the new ‘do didn’t last long. Two days later on Sept. 6, she stepped back out in her classic brunette color at the Women’s Rugby World Cup match between England and Australia at the American Express Stadium in East Sussex, England.
Kate’s hairstyle changes come after facing a battle with cancer since 2024. In January, she announced she was officially in remission following treatment, but she’s shared that fully recovering has still been a challenge.
“You put on a sort of brave face, stoicism through treatment,” she said on a July visit to Colchester Hospital in Essex, per People. “Treatment’s done, then it’s like, ‘I can crack on, get back to normal,’ but actually, the phase afterwards is really, really difficult.”
“You have to find your new normal and that takes time,” she continued, “and it’s a rollercoaster, it’s not smooth, like you expect it to be. But the reality is you go through hard times.”
