Timothée Chalamet plays Marty Mauser, an aspiring table tennis champion and street hustler, in Marty Supreme, the latest movie from Academy Award nominated-director Josh Safdie. Called a “Furiously Energized” by THR’s David Rooney, the sports dark comedy is now available to watch online.
Before it streams on demand on HBO Max, Marty Supreme, which nominated for nine Academy Awards, including best actor, best director, best picture and others, is available to buy or rent online on digital in 4K Ultra HD starting at $19.99 at Prime Video, Apple TV and elsewhere.

Marty Supreme: Plot, Cast, Run Time
Written by Ronald Bronstein and Josh Safdie (Good Time, Uncut Gems), and directed by Safdie, Marty Supreme is set in New York City in 1952 and follows Marty Mauser (Timothée Chalamet), a young man with a dream of being a table tennis champion. However, during his pursuit of greatness, he runs into trouble and obstacles at every turn. While he’s determined to be great one day, Marty Mauser doesn’t care about who he hurts and how he achieves his goals.
The movie also stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara, Fran Drescher, Luke Manley, George Gervin, Sandra Bernhard and others. It runs at two hours and 29 minutes.
