This news is beyond.
For anyone who’s been missing the ability go to one location for all your bedroom, bathroom and miscellaneous needs since Bed Bath & Beyond closed its doors after filing for bankruptcy in 2023, there’s good news. The store is coming back.
But this time, it’s greeting customers with a new name that promises even more: Bed Bath & Beyond Home.
That’s right, the store’s new moniker spells out all that was already available in the brand’s original iteration, including supplies for the bedroom, bathroom and all the other locales in your home. Now, however, it will be written out as a promise on the store’s façade.
The first Bed Bath & Beyond Home opened its sliding doors in Nashville, Tennessee, on Aug. 8, with a number of perks for the first customers.
Not only were the first 25 patrons be given an epic freebie—The Beyond Bed, a premium 10″ memory foam queen size mattress, regularly valued at $226.99—but all those walking through the door will be handed a beloved Bed Bath & Beyond staple: a coupon.
But wait, there’s more.
Not only is Bed Bath & Beyond Home handing out new coupons, but it also promised to honor any old coupons from the original chain that foresighted customers may have been holding onto over the years. In fact, the company wrote, “We encourage guests to bring in their legacy Bed Bath & Beyond coupons.”
The news of the store’s return was announced in a July press release from the Brand House Collective, the store’s parent company. The company heralded the news as a bigger and better version of the beloved franchise which hasn’t had a brick-and-mortar location since 2023.
“We’re proud to reintroduce one of retail’s most iconic names with the launch of Bed Bath & Beyond Home, beautifully reimagined for how families gather at home today,” The Brand House Collective CEO Amy Sullivan said in the release. “This isn’t just a store, it’s a fresh start for a brand that means something special to so many families.”
She continued, “With Bed Bath & Beyond Home we’re delivering on our mission to offer great brands, for any budget, in every room. It’s a powerful addition to our portfolio and a meaningful step forward in our transformation.”
