Khloe Kardashian sticks to her kids’ routine—no matter what.
The Kardashians star recently shared that while she allows herself to take trips away from her and exTristan Thompson’s kids True, 7, and Tatum, 2, from time to time, she doesn’t leave without extensive preparation beforehand.
“I am a control freak,” Khloe admitted during the July 23 episode ofKhloe in Wonder Land. “I micromanage. I just feel like if I don’t do it, it doesn’t get done. I’m insane.”
Naturally, that control carries into even when Khloe isn’t around. In fact, she’ll prepare her daughter’s school lunches and snacks for days in advance to ensure everything is how it should be.
“I know how she likes things done,” Khloe continued, referring to True. “So for school, I pre-do the lunches for the length of my trip, the snacks for the length of my trip. I label everything.”
And it doesn’t stop there.
“I check the weather,” she added. “I feel like people don’t check the weather every day to do her uniforms. Is this a legging day? Is this a bikeshort day? Does this require this sweater?”
SinceTatum is still a toddler, the only thing Khloe needs to worry about is laying out the proper bedtime stories, but she still does everything she can to make herself present, even in her absence.
“Will anyone know how to do this if I don’t do it?” Khloe joked. “Yes, and I know that because when I got COVID for 15 days, somehow everything survived. I still think I need to do it.”
Although Khloe is well aware she may be doing too much, it makes her feel more at ease when she’s away.
“I want to be so hands on I want to do everything,” she explained. “I want to be there for every activity and it’s not possible all the time. I can’t work the way I do, have two kids and be at everyone’s activities all the time.”
