Katy Perry isn’t letting the one that got away stop her from stepping out.
The “Firework” singer, who split from Orlando Bloom in June following a nine-year relationship, shared photos from Paris where she stunned in a black Balenciaga minidress that featured trench coat style-buttons down the front, wide structured shoulders and a deep v-neck. She accessorized with a pair of wire glasses, a slicked back bun hairstyle and black stiletto heels—but it was her body that really made a statement.
In one of the pictures, Katy walked away from the camera, lifting up the side of her dress for a cheeky look at her legs and backside.
The 40-year-old—who shares daughter Daisy Dove, 4, with Orlando—tagged the designer as well as makeup artist Alexandra French, hairstylist Andrew Ly and stylist Georgia Pendlebury in the pictures from the styled shoot.
Katy emphasized her unbothered attitude following the chatter around her split, captioning the July 9 post, “mindin’ my business.”
Fellow Blue Origin space flight crew member Lauren Sánchez Bezos commented two black heart emojis on the post, proving their friendship remains strong despite Katy skipping the journalist’s June 27 wedding with Jeff Bezos due to the Australian leg of her tour while Orlando still attended just days after multiple outlets reported their split.
As Lauren wrote to Katy at the time, “We miss you Katy.”
And while there’s no bad blood between Katy and Lauren, there doesn’t seem to be any with Orlando, either, as on July 7, the friendly exes met up with the newlyweds in Italy. They also brought Daisy along for the yacht day in the Italian sun.
But despite their time spent together, it still seems that the breakup is official, as the couple’s reps confirmed July 3 that the pair has decided to focus on coparenting.
“Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship,” their reps told E! News in a statement, “representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.”
The reps added, “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is—and always will be—raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”
