Selena Gomez revealed her little sister’s adorable nickname for the “Cruel Summer” singer while paying tribute to the pre-teen for her 12th birthday.
In a video shared to her Instagram Story June 12, Selena sat on a bed across from Gracie, who is holding a bowl of food and a remote. After pressing a button on the device, Taylor’s “The Man” music video started playing on the TV, to which Gracie excitedly told her big sis, “There, now we can watch the video too.”
Atop the sweet moment, Selena gave a nod to her sibling’s affectionate nickname for the Grammy winner, writing, “When she loves auntie Taylor more than me.”
Of course, the 32-year-old isn’t really bothered that Gracie—who is the daughter of Selena’s mom Mandy Teefey and her stepdad Brian Teefey—is fangirling over her bestie. In fact, the Only Murders in the Building star shared in a second tribute that she’ll have the little one’s back no matter what.
“Happy birthday to my baby sissy,” Selena wrote on Instagram June 12 alongside several snaps of her and her sister. “As I cry writing this, my heart melts because I know you know I’m always on your side. No matter what. I love you baby girl.”
Besides, Gracie’s not the only member of the “Hands to Myself” singer’s inner circle who is down bad for Taylor’s musical talent.
Earlier this month, Benny Blanco—who Selena got engaged to in December following a year of dating—shared that he’s developed a newfound appreciation for the “Fortnight” musician ever since falling for her longtime BFF.
“She’s a true Swiftie, through and through,” Benny said of Selena in an InStyle interview published June 4. “Then she got me on the train, and now I’m a full Swiftie.”
He added, “I don’t listen to a ton of contemporary music anyways, but Selena would play me the deep cuts. And I was like, ‘Damn… Taylor’s pen is so fire!”
