Dakota Johnson isn’t a crappy friend.
After all, the Verity star revealed she sent a gallon of gorilla poop to a man who broke her close pal’s heart.
“Yes, I did do that,” Dakota admitted during Vanity Fair’s lie detector test June 5. “It’s been quite a while. It’s been some years … You can order any kind, any size.”
Other truths she dropped while taking the test? She admitted she would lie to the police for BFF Riley Keough, and she knows where to order pubic crabs online. (But don’t worry, she hasn’t ordered them. Yet.)
However, one shocking revelation was that during a previous sit-down, she said she would never close the gap in her teeth. Which, spoiler, she did in 2017.
But, she insisted her trademark gap closed on its own—despite the lie detector showing an inconclusive result.
“The machine doesn’t know what to do,” she said with a laugh. “No, it closed on its own. I had one of those wires since I was a little kid and then I took it off because I wasn’t a little kid anymore and then it closed.”
And yes, she was telling the truth when she said she considers herself a private person.
Which fans know all too well.
Indeed, Dakota—who broke up with Chris Martin after nearly eight years of dating—has always chosen to keep their romance out of the spotlight. As she put it to Tatler in 2018, “I’m not going totalk about it, but I am very happy.”
She did, however, treat fans to small glimpses into their relationship over the years, including what goes on behind closed doors.
“We’ve been together for quite a while,” she told Elle UK in 2021. “We go out sometimes, but we both work so much that it’s nice to be at home and be cozy and private. Most of the partying takes place inside my house.”
