Meghan Markle’s birthday tribute for daughter Lilibet Diana is fit for a princess.
The Duchess of Sussex celebrated the fourth birthday—also the golden birthday—of her and Prince Harry’s daughter with two sets of never-before-seen photos.
The As Ever founder’s June 4 Instagram post led with a photo of her snuggled up with Lilibet—who wore the Clover Baby & Kids popsicle dress—while their hair blows in the wind during a boat ride. Meghan, 43, followed the sweet moment with an image of her holding her daughter close shortly after Lili was born.
In addition to the sweet pictures, Meghan—who also shares son Archie with Harry—penned a message in honor of her youngest.
“Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it,” she wrote. “Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
The With Love, Meghan host also shared another post featuring another set of pictures of Lilibet with Harry.
In the post, Harry craddles a newborn Lili in his arms as she gazes up to him. In the following slide, the daddy-daughter duo hold hands as they take a stroll barefoot in the sand.
“The sweetest bond to watch unfold,” Meghan wrote alongside the Instagram post. “Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer. Happy birthday Lili!”
But Lili’s isn’t the only golden birthday Meghan and Harry have celebrated recently. After all, their firstborn Archie turned six on May 6. To commemorate the milestone, the duchess shared a picture of Archie standing on a balcony taking in the sunrise.
“Happy 6th birthday to Archie!” she wrote. “Thank you for all of the love, prayers, and warm wishes for our sweet boy. He’s six! Where did the time go?”
Lilibet and Archie have made sweet appearances on their mother’s Instagram account. And while she has opted to keep their faces out of public view, she’s captured moments with her children such as sourcing honey from their beehive and helping her in the kitchen.
Meghan—who married Harry in 2018—will never shy away from expressing her love for her children. In fact, the Suits alum recently shed light on how she chooses to show up for them amid her full life as working mom.
“I know that they’ll feel like, ‘Oh, my gosh, no one has ever loved someone more than the way our mom loved us,'” Meghan shared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show in April. “I put that in practice. That’s part of every day of how I show up for them.”
“That’s the best part about being a mom,” she explained. “It’s not about the grandeur of a gesture. It’s about, ‘I see you. I’m nurturing and I see you so deeply and I love being able to see your growth.’ I’m just so proud of them.”
