Taylor Frankie Paul is ready to start over.
After it was revealed in the season two premiere of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives that Dakota Mortensen had been unfaithful to her shortly after the couple welcomed 13-month-old Ever, Taylor shared where the couple currently stands in a follow up on TikTok.
Under a May 18 TikTok where a fan details how she may have crossed paths with Dakota, Taylor cut any of her own ties, writing, “Dakota isn’t mine anymore, wish him the best.”
The 30-year-old’s confirmation of the former couple’s breakup comes just a few days after she detailed Dakota’s alleged infidelity on Mormon Wives.
“Right after Ever was born, Dakota and I were living together and in bliss with our new baby, and I was even considering engagement,” Taylor explained during the May 15 episode. “And then I learned that he was lying this entire time.”
Later in the episode, Taylor and Mormon Wives costar Mayci Neeley invite Jenna, a woman Dakota allegedly cheated with, over to Mayci’s house to clear the air. As Jenna revealed texts between her and Dakota, Taylor began to cry during the episode.
“I feel like I needed this for so long,” Taylor—who also shares kids Indy and Ocean with ex Tate Paul—admitted to Jenna, assuring her she was not to blame. “It’s not you, it’s the situation. You’re just, unfortunately, the one that was in the situation.”
Indeed, Taylor and Mayci lauded Jenna for sharing vulnerable information with them, and Taylor went on to call Dakota’s behavior “so awful.”
“He definitely lied a ton,” she explained in a subsequent confessional. “Now, I get why he was so terrified of all of this.”
Taylor noted that Dakota had made it seem as though Jenna was coming on to him, but later detailed messages on Jenna’s phone that proved that wasn’t the case.
“I found out a lot of things that were not being told the truth this entire time,” she explained. “He made it seem like she was the one that was always instigating and begging. No, it was him.”
And while Taylor has officially confirmed her breakup from Dakota, she previously alluded to their separation.
“We’re doing the best we can for our baby,” she told E! News in an interview earlier this month, “and, what happens in the future, I’m not sure. Right now, I’m focusing on only me.”
