David Beckham is showing love to the whole family.
Amid rumors that Brooklyn Peltz Beckham, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, 30, are entangled in a feud against the rest of the Beckham family, David included his eldest son in a sweet Mother’s Day tribute nonetheless.
“Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy,” the soccer star—who also shares kids Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 13, with wife Victoria Beckham—wrote on his Instagram Stories May 11, alongside a throwback photo of the kids cuddled up against their mom. “To all our friends in the US happy Mother’s Day.”
And while David made sure to tag every single one of his kids in the tribute, his post comes one week after Brooklyn and Nicola were both noticeably absent from his 50th birthday party—despite the couple skipping the Met Gala to celebrate the occasion.
“Nicola and Brooklyn were never confirmed to attend the Met,” a source with knowledge told E! News at the time, “in hopes they could see David and celebrate his birthday with him that week, weekend instead.”
But among the glimpses David and Victoria shared of the May 2 festivities on social media, only three of their kids surrounded David in their matching navy outfits—and Brooklyn was nowhere to be seen.
“Creating special memories with family and friends,” Victoria captioned a May 4 Instagram post, tagging Romeo, Cruz and Harper. “We love you all.”
To rewind even further, rumors of a rift between the two older siblings ran rampant last month after Romeo made no mention of his brother and sister-in-law in a photo he shared of himself and his family—as well as girlfriend Kim Turnbull and Cruz’s partner Jackie Apostel—at a March 30 celebration for their dad’s upcoming birthday.
Indeed, the last time the family posted a full family reunion was over the holidays. And since then, no one in the family has addressed any of the feud rumors.
“Being together for the holidays makes me so happy,” Victoria wrote over a December photo of her and her family posing in front of a Christmas tree. “I love you all so much.”
And though the family has been known to share a tight-knit bond, there have been rumblings of bad blood between Brooklyn and the rest of his family once before. In fact, Brooklyn and Nicola spoke out against rumors that Nicola and Victoria didn’t get along back in 2022.
“I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that,” Brooklyn told Variety of the speculations at the time. “They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.”
