Ice Spice is giving fans a taste of her new relationship.
While giving a glimpse into her life lately, the “Barbie World” rapper subtly made her budding romance with New York Jets cornerback Sauce Garder Instagram official. Indeed, amidsolo shots of herself and a video playing in the snow while wearing a bikini, she shared a mirror selfie with the NFL player.
The post comes months after relationship rumors began swirling. Initial suspicions arose in September when the rapper attended a Jets game, followed by several low key outings together, including at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party.
But while Ice (real name: Isis Gaston) formally took their romance to the ‘gram, Sauce, 25, previously teased the relationship when he shared a photo of the 24-year-old, per Vibe, in a since-deleted April 1 post of the pair standing next to a Rolls-Royce.
The new relationship marks her entry into NFL WAG territory along with her good pal Taylor Swift, whom she joined for the Super Bowl the last two years to cheer on Travis Kelce. In 2024, Ice joined Taylor’s star-studded suite in Las Vegas along with Blake Lively, Ashley Avignone, Jason Kelce, his and Travis’ mom Donna Kelce and Taylor’s mom Andrea Swift. In 2025, the crew included the HAIM sisters—Este, Danielle and Alana—and Ashley, who like Ice, made her second consecutive appearance.
At the 2025 game—in which the Chiefs fell to the Eagles—the “In Ha Mood” rapper was seen sitting next to Taylor when the “Cruel Summer” singer appeared on the jumbotron to boos from the crowd. However, after a sharp glance from Taylor, the two seemed to laugh it off.
As to how their sweet friendship began? It all came down to the Grammy winner reaching out in hopes of a collaboration on the “Karma” remix.
“I remember my manager called me, and he usually texts, but he called, and he’s like, ‘You ready for this one?’ And I’m thinking it’s going to be some bad news or something,” Ice recalled to Rolling Stone in July 2024. “He’s like, ‘Taylor Swift has a record for you to get on from her album.’ I’m playing it cool on the phone. I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s cool. Super cool.’ And then I hang up the phone and I’m hysterically crying.”
Little did she know it would lead to Taylor becoming who she would go on to call her “closest celebrity friend.”
“Taylor f–ks with me,” she added. “She’s so funny. I think our personalities mesh really well.”
