Alex Cooper is feeling a little bit country.
The Call Her Daddy podcast host revealed why she opted out of going to Coachella this year in order to prioritize attending 2025’s Stagecoach music festival instead.
“I feel like Stagecoach is the better version of Coachella,” Alex explained in an April 1 TikTok. “I’ve never been to Coachella, and I don’t want to go to Coachella.”
And the 30-year-old shared her reason for steering clear of the Indio, Calif., music festival once again.
“Coachella seems like it would give me anxiety,” Alex continued, “but Stagecoach I feel like is the better, chiller version.”
Noting that her husband Matt Kaplan will be joining her, Alex also provided insight into how she’ll be spending her time at the country music festival, which kicked off on April 25 and has a lineup that includes Lana Del Rey, Backstreet Boys, Luke Combs, Zach Bryan and Nelly.
“Two of my best friends from childhood are going to come out to California,” she said, “and also one of our best friends, who are a couple that Matt and I are best friends with, are also going to come, and we’re all going to get a house and stay together.”
Alex added, “It’s going to be so fun.”
But Alex isn’t the only star who traded flower crowns for cowboy boots. After all, Olivia Jade Giannulli, Rachel Lindsay, Shay Mitchell, John Stamos, Brandi Cyrus and Jelly Roll all made appearances at the weekend-long event in 2024.
For Shay, the festival—held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif.—adds a fun twist to a widely popular occasion. As the Pretty Little Liars alum previously quipped in a TikTok video, “Basically, it’s Coachella with a cowboy hat.”
