It seems Sydney Sweeney still has a sweet spot for JonathanDavino.
The pair—who got engaged in 2022 before breaking up earlier this year—was spotted out for a casual breakfast with friends in Florida on April 19.
The actress, 27, and producer, 41, nearly coordinated, as they both wore white sweatshirts, white sneakers, baseball caps and sunglasses. Sydney sported denim shorts while Jonathan wore casual black pants. And while Sydney’s new German Shepherd puppy made an appearance, her engagement ring did not, further showing that they called off their engagement earlier this year. While neither party has confirmed their split, multiple outlets reported the news last month.
An eyewitness told E! News that Sydney and Jonathan also went out to dinner together with friends the night before, taking a boat ride to an island eatery.
As the witness put it, “Sydney and Jonathan sat together side by side and were all smiles.”
This isn’t the only time the former flames proved they’re still on good terms after the split. Earlier this month, the former couple reunited for a casual lunch at Beverly Glen Deli.
Amid rumors of trouble in paradise, Sydney was also seen getting close with Anyone But You costar Glen Powell, even attending his sister Leslie Powell’s wedding in Texas, leading fans to believe the pair might be an item. However, the Twisters star clarified that Sydney joined for the nuptials as she and his sister have become close friends.
“Timing is everything in this world, isn’t it,” Glen said during an April 2 appearance on Jenna & Friends. “I mean, she and Syd are obviously friends.”
Glen’s mom later shut down the romance rumors, calling Sydney a “good friend.”
“They’re definitely not together,” Cyndy Powell told the Daily Mail March 31, adding that Sydney had attended Leslie’s Texas nuptials “with her friend.”
“We love Sydney,” she explained. “We’ve considered her just a really, really good friend. We were all together so much and we haven’t seen her in a long time. She’s really a friend and we all enjoy her.”
