Alix Earle Details Gruesome Dancing With the Stars Injuries

For Alix Earle, dipping her toes in the Dancing With the Stars world came at a price.

The influencer—who’s partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy for season 34—detailed the recent injuries she sustained while rehearsing for the ABC ballroom competition show.

“I have bruises on my collarbones,” Alix said in a TikTok video shared Sept. 21. “My toenail came off during practice today.”

The 24-year-old then pointed at one of her knees. “This is like one big, swollen bruise,” she said. “It’s so swollen. I don’t think I can walk.”

While Alix—who scored 13 out of 20 points during the Sept. 16 premiere—found her first week on DWTS difficult, she continues to challenge herself physically.

“I thought week one was hard,” she said of her Cha-Cha to “Circus” by Britney Spears. “There’s some tricks and things that I just can’t do, but I’m like, ‘Oh, I’ll do it. I’m gonna work and get it by next Tuesday.’”

Before facing her first double-elimination on Sept. 23, Alix noted, “I’m starting to doubt myself a little bit but I’m gonna keep trying. But I think I’m breaking my knees.”

Despite her physical challenges amid her ballroom journey, Alix is boosted by support from her boyfriend, NFL star Braxton Berrios.

“I honestly haven’t really had a chance to talk to him yet,” the TikToker exclusively told E! News correspondent Will Marfuggi after her DWTS debut. “But he texted me a screenshot that he voted for me—most important.”

Alix added, “He’s very sweet and always supportive, so [I’m] excited to talk to him later.”

Braxton also expressed his support for his girlfriend of two years, joking on his Instagram Story, “Voting hates to see me coming.” In addition, the Houston Texans wide receiver shared a video of his TV screen showing Alix’s Dancing With the Stars intro, writing, “Let’s go!”
