After years of mostly keeping her kids off social media, Kristin Cavallari is coming clean about their close bond.
Indeed, the Laguna Beach alum, mom to Camden, 12, Jaxon, 10, and Saylor, 9, with ex-husband Jay Cutler, has recently begun sharing more of her kids on social media—from sweet cooking videos to family nights out. Although, she over the years she has often given an inside look at mom life, including their recent move to Franklin, Tenn., after years in Nashville.
“My kids were all so excited,” Kristin explained last October on her podcast Let’s Be Honest. “They’re all doing their own rooms, which is great. It’s so much easier moving when your kids are a bit older. I hated moving with babies because they can’t do anything.”
“I’m really happy and really content having my life right now being about my kids and work,” she said. “Happiness for me is peace, and peace for me is making this home exactly how I want it.”
And as a family, they have been taking the time to embrace everything Tennessee has to offer. In December, Saylor and the Very Cavallari star had a girl’s night out, sitting in the stands at a Nashville Predators game.
Kristin shared a rare picture of her daughter sporting a yellow jersey and a “Go Preds” face decal.
Even more recently, Kristin and her eldest Camden went to the iconic Nashville chain Hattie B’s for a mother-son “date night.”
“Ok, we’re trying Hattie B’s for the first time,” Kristin shared in a March 21 video on her Instagram Story. “Never had it all these years.”
The duo took a selfie together, which she captioned, “Wait, honestly, so freakin’ good.”
The rare photo comes after Camden admitted to his mom that he wants shared that he wants to be more active on social media. In the past, Kristin has been reluctant to showing her children’s faces on her account. “Yes, I realize a lot of you don’t get it,” she wrote in a May 2022 Instagram post. “I want my kids to make their own decision to be on social media.”
However, as they get older, Kristin is letting her kids lead the way. “He’s a little bit older now and he wants to be on social media,” she said in a September Instagram story. “He’s 12 going on 28, so he is mature enough to make that decision now.”
