Blac Chyna is giving her tips for a happy blended family.
And for the model, who shares son King Cairo, 12, with ex-fiancé Tyga and daughter Dream, 8, with ex Rob Kardashian, the key to successfully co-parenting with both of her exes comes down to one major factor.
“I think the main thing is communication, and also learning your boundaries,” Chyna told Access Hollywood in an interview published March 24. “If you have your own thing going on, you won’t be so much in the other person’s business.”
“Sometimes people lose themselves and they’re so caught up in the other parent’s business to where they can’t even focus on themselves,” the 36-year-old continued. “But ultimately, focus on the kid, show respect, have boundaries and communication, and you should have a healthy coparenting life.”
The Rob & Chyna alum (real name Angela White) also urged other co-parents to clearly define their relationship—especially if they choose to end things romantically.
“If you say you’re done, be done,” she insisted. “Don’t be off and on with them either because that can stir up some stuff.”
While Chyna has had public ups and downs with her exes—including a lengthy legal battle with Rob’s sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner as well as his mom Kris Jenner—she’s since found love again with music producer Derrick Milano, to whom she got engaged in October 2024.
“I can go on and on about how much you mean the world to me & never get tired of it,” he wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a video of his proposal. “Everyday with you feels everlasting & it is such a blessing to call you my fiancée. I love you so much!”
Five months later, the couple are still going strong, though Chyna—who recently marked 900 days of sobriety—said they’re still in the early stages of wedding planning.
“I don’t have a date yet,” she told Access. “I thought we did, but we don’t have the date yet.”
