Grab your cowboy boots—because the ACM Awards are finally here.
Indeed, the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards are bringing some of the genre’s biggest names to the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, May 8 for the 2025 ceremony.
With 14-time ACM award winner Reba McEntire hosting country’s biggest night for the 18th time, artists Kelsea Ballerini, Shaboozey, Blake Shelton, Backstreet Boys, reigning New Female Artist of the Year recipient Megan Moroney and more will also take the stage to perform their chart-topping hits.
And since this year marks six decades of the longest-running Country Music awards, Reba will join Clint Black, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Sugarland and Wynonna Judd in taking fans through a special 12-minute mashup of past AMC Songs of the Year.
As for nominees? This year, newcomer Ella Langley led the pack with eight nominations, including Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year as well as six nominations for her song “you look like you love me” with Riley Green. Following closely behind are Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen, with seven nominations each, as well as Lainey Wilson and Chris Stapleton, who each have six.
But while each category has no shortage of talented artists, fans couldn’t help but notice that Beyoncé, who made history with her country-inspired album Cowboy Carter at the 2025 Grammy Awards earlier this year, was noticeably absent from the list of nominees.
“This ain’t a country album,” she quipped as she accepted her trophy for Best Country Album in February. “This is a ‘Beyoncé’ album.”
Even so, an acclaimed group of presenters will gather to announce the long-awaited winners of this year’s ACM Awards. And among them are fan favorites Little Big Town, Clint Black, Carly Pearce, Gretchen Wilson and many more.
