Romeo Baldwin is on the mend.
Hilaria Baldwin shared that her 6-year-old son, who she shares with husband Alec Baldwin, suffered from an injury over the weekend.
“Romeo was playing in the park yesterday and broke his collarbone,” Hilaria captioned an April 6 Instagram photo with her son. “It’s gonna be a bit of healing journey, it’s super painful, but we are really grateful for the kind medical staff that is taking care of him!”
In the accompanying mirror selfie, the 41-year-old—who also shares kids Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Eduardo, 4, Maria Lucia, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with Alec—dons an all-green sweatsuit as she poses behind Romeo, whose right arm is resting in a navy sling.
The accident comes as audiences continue to get a glimpse into the family of nine’s life at home on their TLC reality show The Baldwins, for which Alec, 66, recently shared that his kids are “already renegotiating their contract” ahead of a potential second season.
“They want more money,” Alec joked to People in an interview published March 12. “They want a lot more money, so we’ll see what happens.”
In all seriousness, though, the It’s Complicated actor explained that the show captured what his family life is really like, and his children have really enjoyed the process of shooting the series.
“The kids have fun, the kids are happy,” he explained. “It’s not like we’re staging anything or faking. [They] have friends and go to play dates and this and that, but they would rather stay home with each other.”
“They’re very close and they want to just be with each other,” Alec added, “so this representation is pretty authentic about how we live our lives.”
“I always joke with [Hilaria],” Alec shared, “and say, ‘You know where I should be right now, don’t you? We should be on Geffen’s yacht, drinking a cappuccino and reading a book, and having dinner with Spielberg or whatever.’”
But, ultimately, the actor is content with his family-centric life.
“This is my reality,” Alec noted. “I wouldn’t change anything.”

Summer Lovin’
Alec Baldwin told the New York Times he gave his future wife, then Hilaria Thomas, his number upon meeting her at Pure Food and Wine in New York in February 2011. The two played phone tag until they finally arranged a time to meet for dinner.
That August they enjoyed their first US Open together, one of Alec’s favorite events.
Black Tie Date Night
Alec looked into his future and saw Hilaria at the 10th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation’s “An Enduring Vision” benefit at Cipriani Wall Street in October 2011. They moved in together the following month.
Swept Away
Hilaria accompanied Alec to the Cannes Film Festival in 2012. “I’ve dated a lot of people since my divorce, and have thought a lot about what I wanted and what I wanted to do,” he said. “I thought about it too much, I suppose. I wasn’t really ready to take that chance and to act until I met Hilaria.”
He Put a Ring On It!
In April 2012, Alec’s rep confirmed to E! News that he and Hilaria were engaged.
Daughter-Approved!
Hilaria and Ireland Baldwin frequently tweet about their friendship. Ireland joked on the social networking site she was going to serve as a “flower girl” in the wedding, but actually was a bridesmaid.
They Do!
On June 30, 2012, the happy couple tied the knot in front of family and friends at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Manhattan. The bride wore a silk magnolia trumpet Amsale gown and the groom donned a tux from Tom Ford.
Full House
The couple are now parents of seven, welcoming Carmen Gabriela (Aug. 23, 2013), Rafael Thomas (June 17, 2015), Leonardo Ángel Charles (Sept. 12, 2016), Romeo Alejandro David (May 17, 2018), Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas (Sept. 8, 2020), María Lucía Victoria (Feb. 25, 2021, via surrogate) and Ilaria Catalina Irena (Sept. 22, 2022).
The whole family will be starring on TLC’s The Baldwins, premiering Feb. 23, 2025.
