This year, the 2025 American Music Awards’ star-studded lineup of presenters will include model Cara Delevingne, singer Shaboozey and The Traitors’Dylan Efron for the May 26 ceremony, CBS and Dick Clark Productions announced May 21.
Shaboozey will be presenting while also nominated for seven awards, spanning from Best New Artist to Song of the Year and Favorite Country Album for his third album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going.
And he’s not the only musician who will be hitting the stage when the AMAs take place on Memorial Day in Las Vegas. Jennifer Lopez returns to host the evening for her second time after previously hosting in 2015, joining the short list of artists who have emceed the event solo, including Lionel Richie, Diana Ross and Pitbull.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jennifer Lopez back to host the American Music Awards,” said Jay Penske, CEO of Dick Clark Productions, in a statement. “Jennifer’s incredible talent and incomparable stage presence make her the ideal host of the show. We know she will bring her one-of-a-kind energy to the official kick off celebration of summer.”
This time, J.Lo is ready to go all out after admitting that hosting in 2015 was “one of the most fun nights I ever had.”
“I’ve never been a fan of hosting or getting up,” she said in a teaser video. “I like having lines. I like doing my films. I like performing and singing and dancing. But there’s something about hosting that’s a whole different thing.”
Jennifer continued, “I was very nervous about it, but I always look back on it. I had the best time. I think about the opening number that I got to put together with all of the great artists, and it was just one of the best nights I ever had.”
The 2025 ceremony will feature performances from Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Renée Rapp and Lainey Wilson—who is nominated for three awards.
Benson Boone, nominated for five awards including New Artist of the Year, will be performing his latest single from his upcoming album American Heart during his first AMAs.
And returning to the stage ahead of the release of her new album Raíces, Gloria Estefan is back following her last performance at the AMAs more than 30 years ago.
With the most nominations at the world’s largest fan-voted award show, Kendrick Lamar secured ten nominations, including Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Close behind are Post Malone with eight, Billie Eilish and Chappell Roan with seven each.
Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter, SZA and Taylor Swift follow with six nominations to their names. If Taylor wins in any category, she will break her own record for most AMA wins with 41 awards.
