Jenn Tran has made it official with a new special friend.
One month after her breakup with Dancing with the Stars partner Sasha Farber, Jenn shared with fans that she now has a new partner in crime. But this time, she’s trading in a man for a kitten.
In a July 10 TikTok video, on which Jenn wrote “Hard launch,” she flipped from her front camera to her back camera to reveal her new furry friend to the Taylor Swift song “Ready for it?” She captioned the video, “Im so whipped.”
While Jenn, 27, is now officially a cat mom, she first introduced the kitten to followers when sharing she was fostering in late May.
“This is my new cat—My foster cat,” Jenn said in the May 24 TikTok video, prior to her split from Sasha. “Well, I might adopt her.”
Jenn went on to share that this wasn’t the first time she had fostered a kitten, but she could already tell that this one was different.
“She’s warmed up to me, let me pick her up immediately,” she shared of her cat’s “brave” nature, adding, “was not scared of me at all.”
So it didn’t take long for her to realize the cat’s residence may become permanent.
“Now that I am going to be around for a second, because I don’t have any plans to travel for a hot second, I have time for a cat,” she explained at the time. “And I was only going to foster, but then I saw her.”
As Jenn formally reintroduced her foster cat as her forever cat in the July video, fans in the comments expressed their excitement—and their relief, especially after watching her go through not only her split from Sasha after nearly a year together, but also her breakup from her former fiancé Devin Strader just weeks after getting engaged on The Bachelorette in 2024.
“Best news ever! I stand by this relationship,” one user wrote. “No red flags.” Another echoed the sentiment, adding, “finally someone who deserves jenn.”
And the 27-year-old’s fellow Bachelor season 28 alum Starr Skyler was also glad to see the hard launch was for a pet, commenting, “U scared me for a sec I was confused.”
So while Jenn may not have a boyfriend by her side, she’ll still have company as she completes her studies in Miami. Indeed, while she took a long break from becoming a physician’s assistant for her journey to love with Bachelor Nation and later on Dancing With the Stars, life in front of the camera is now “taking a back seat” to her studies.
“No more hiatuses from P.A. school, I promised my mom,” she told People in April. “But after P.A. school, we’ll see.”
