Becca Tilley has accepted Hayley Kiyoko‘s final rose.
The singer-songwriter shared that she and the Bachelor alum are engaged after seven years of dating.
In a July 10 shared Instagram post, Hayley, 34, wrote, “My dream girl said yes to forever…”
She also gave followers a peek into how she popped the question during a trip to Mallorca, showing photos of her down on one knee in front a picturesque waterfront spot, as well as a close up of a radiant cut Ring Concierge ring and a joyful moment after jumping in the water.
As for Becca, 36, she also shared the post to her story, adding, “Easiest yes I’ve ever said.”
Several members of Bachelor Nation expressed their excitement for the couple who met in 2018, two years after Becca’s final appearance in the franchise. Ashley Iaconetti, who appeared on Season 19 of The Bachelor alongside Becca, commented, “AAAAAWWHHHHHHHHHHYH congratulations! I knew this was the next wedding! Love you both.”
Becca’s BFF JoJoFletcher also shared her congratulations, commenting, “My girls! I love yall so much and cannot wait to see this beautiful next chapter unfold for the two of you!!” with Kaitlyn Bristowe echoing the sentiment, adding, “One of the most beautiful couples inside and out. I am so happy and love your love.”
While the pair met in 2018, they didn’t go public with their relationship for four more years. While they never meant to keep their love a secret, it took a while for Becca to feel ready to both come out and go fully public with their relationship.
“Hayley and I had a lot of conversations about being public and being private,” Becca said in a May 2024 episode of the Made It Out podcast. “She was like, ‘I am so proud, and I have worked so hard to be proud of who I am that I don’t want to feel like I’m back in the closet.’ And I’m like, ‘I also don’t want you to feel like that. But if you can kind of see my perspective, I’m navigating being a public person, and having a public platform, being from The Bachelor, it is really hard.'”
However, the time gave Becca and Hayley the ability to feel fully confident in their partnership by the time they a formally announced their relationship in May 2022. A month later, Becca told E! News, “We’ve been together for four years, so the good thing is when we went public, we felt very solid in our relationship.”
And despite initial worries, as Becca put it, “I never could’ve predicted the support and love that we’ve gotten.”
