Jennie Kim‘s 2025 Met Gala look will have you saying “Damn right.”
The Blackpink alum stepped out in New York City on May 5 for the annual fashion event, and her stunning ensemble certainly made everyone do a double take. (To see every star who stepped out at the 2025 Met Gala, click here.)
For the haute couture occasion, Jennie rocked a pair of black suit pants with a matching off-the-shoulder top that featured a long train in the back. To finish off her ensemble, which perfectly fit the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, the 29-year-old accessorized with pearl chains and a white-and-black top hat. Plus, she wore a Chanel high jewelry ruban ring in 18K white gold featuring diamonds.
And Jennie wasn’t the only member of Blackpink to shut down this year’s Met Gala, which was led by co-chairs Anna Wintour, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Colman Domingo, as well as honorary co-chair LeBron James.
Lisa and Rosé also stole the spotlight with their chic fashion at the annual fundraiser.
Of course, Jennie has made jaws drop on the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps before. Last year, the “Love Hangover” singer turned heads in a custom cobalt blue Alaia mini dress that featured a cutout at her waist.
And in 2023, she made her unforgettable debut at the “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” occasion by wearing a vintage Chanel dress plucked from the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 1990 collection. The look featured a strapless white mini dress with a pleated hem.
However, Jennie’s repeat attendance at fashion’s biggest night hasn’t totally stopped her from getting nervous leading up to the gala. As she told Vogue in 2024, “I don’t think I’ll ever be prepared for the Met.”
“But I do feel a lot more relaxed than last year,” she continued, “because I have more of an idea of what goes on inside.”
Jennie added, “So yeah, trying to have more fun.”
