The Brooklyn Mirage is entering a new chapter.
The iconic East Williamsburg venue is being reintroduced as Pacha New York, marking a major relaunch aimed at restoring the space’s standing as one of New York City’s most influential electronic music destinations.
The transition comes after FIVE Holdings entered into a long-term agreement to assume full operational management of the Brooklyn Mirage and The Great Hall complex.
The deal combines the local legacy of recapitalized Avant Gardner with Pacha’s global nightlife brand, which has spent more than five decades shaping dance culture worldwide.
According to those involved, the move is designed to position Pacha New York as both a large-scale entertainment venue and a cultural platform — bringing together international electronic headliners, Grammy-winning artists, underground acts, and New York-based talent under one roof.

First Season Launches Summer 2026
Pacha New York is set to debut its inaugural season from June through October 2026, with programming focused on high-profile electronic performances alongside emerging and homegrown artists.
Organizers say the aim is to reflect the diversity of the modern electronic music scene while delivering production levels typically reserved for global festival stages.
Following the summer run, the newly upgraded Great Hall will continue operating year-round as a multi-genre venue, hosting live music and crossover performances beyond electronic acts.
Despite the international expansion, operators emphasize that the venue will remain closely tied to Brooklyn’s creative community through partnerships with local artists, collectives, and promoters.
Industry Leaders Speak Out
“New York — the financial and cultural capital of the world — represents more than a market expansion for FIVE and Pacha,” said Kabir Mulchandani, Chairman and CEO of FIVE Holdings.
“This move reflects the strength of our vision, the resilience of our platform, and our ambition to help shape the future of entertainment on a global stage.”
The announcement follows the resolution of key legal and financial hurdles tied to Avant Gardner’s Chapter 11 proceedings.
Andrew Axelrod, CEO and CIO of Axar Capital, confirmed that an agreement in principle has been reached with unsecured creditors, clearing the way for the transition.
“We are thrilled to partner with FIVE and Pacha to bring a world-class operator to Brooklyn,” Axelrod said. “This partnership is about restoring the venue as a beloved destination for music fans and elevating it to even greater heights.”

A High-Stakes Reset for NYC Nightlife
With New York’s nightlife industry continuing to rebound, Pacha New York’s arrival signals a significant bet on the city’s appetite for large-scale electronic events — while attempting to balance global branding with local credibility.
As the venue prepares for its 2026 relaunch, operators are framing the transformation as both a revival and a reset: a globally connected nightlife brand anchored in the cultural DNA of Brooklyn.
