Bunnie Xo knows sometimes people just need a favor.
Jelly Roll‘s wife recently partnered with social media creator Zachery Dereniowski who surprises unsuspecting strangers with gifts for their generosity—to give a man named Peter a new home.
Through Zach’s MDMotivator Instagram account, the couple were (virtually) introduced to Peter, who is caring for his grandson Aaron as his daughter struggles with addiction. In a clip shared June 14, Peter was seen regifting Zach’s money to others in need in celebration of Father’s Day.
“I’ve been following Zach on social media and absolutely love how inspiring he is,” she shared exclusively with E! News. “What he does for people is so beautiful. Watching Peter’s story and how he gave back to somebody when he’s probably at one of the lowest points in his life without hesitation just made me to want to do the same.”
So, as captured in a June 27 video, Zach lead a blindfolded Peter, with grandson Eric in tow, to their new home, gifted to them by Bunnie.
“I knew I needed to give back to him and his little grandson,” Bunnie told E! continued. “I hope they both enjoy their new camper so much and maybe next time we’re on tour we can stop by and visit them.”
And yes, here is where you’re going to want to grab a box of tissues. Upon seeing his new home, Peter began to tear up. “Oh God, you’re kidding,” he said in the video. “Wow.”
The home will serve as a new beginning for the pair. “My dream for Aaron is for his mom to get better, he’s getting a little distant from her,” Peter said, noting his grandson is who keeps him going.
And, of course, Peter will continue to pay it forward. As for what he did with his former camper? He gifted it to a nearby neighbor who had been living in a tent.
As Peter reflected, “There is good at the end of the rainbow, you know what I’m saying?”
