Ciara and Sienna Wilson have leveled up in these matching outfits.
The Grammy winner and her 8-year-old daughter—who she shares with NFL player Russell Wilson—sported matching black suit and tie outfits at the Black Women in Business dinner in Los Angeles.
At the June 3 event, Ciara received the Avant-Garde award for her contributions to the music industry—an honor that held special meaning.
“I think it always feels good to feel love and to be amongst my peers and women that I also admire,” Ciara shared with People on the red carpet. “It’s very inspiring, so I’m happy to be here.”
The mother-daughter duo matched all the way down to their tie clips as they held hands and posed for the cameras at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion. While Ciara—also mom to Win, 4, and Amora, 18 months, with Russell, as well as son Future Zahir, 11, with ex Future—opted for a classic half up half down, the tween rocked two pigtails.
“She’s very sweet, very funny,” Sienna told the outlet about her mom, “and very fun.”
Earlier, this year the “Body Party” artist threw an extravagant Wicked themed party to ring in her daughter’s 8th birthday with a special call from Cynthia Erivo, who even sang the end defying gravity riff as seen on Ciara’s Instagram.
“Sienna, you are beyond amazing and the sweetest daughter anyone could ask for,” Ciara captioned the celebration at the time. “The love, confidence, and excellence you radiate makes everyone feel like they’re Defying Gravity!”
It’s been a year of milestones for Ciara and Russell, who will celebrate their ninth wedding anniversary on July 6. In fact, the duo is currently contemplating expanding their family tree.
“Honestly, I do see the road of baby No. 5—but at the right time,” Ciara explained on The Jennifer Hudson Show in November. “I want to grind a little bit. I want to drop it like it’s hot a couple of times. When I’m trying to drop it like it’s hot with a belly, I can’t get up. I gotta take my time a little bit. Mama gotta love on herself a little bit.”
