Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant will be dancing together forever.

The Dancing With the Stars pro and the CODA actor said their “I Dos” during a lavish wedding celebration in Santa Margarita, Calif. on Aug. 23. 

Britt and Daniel tied the knot on the third anniversary of their meeting as partners for season 31 of Dancing with the Stars

Marking their big day in style, the groom wore a traditional black Tuxedo and Gucci sneakers. Adding an extra special element, Daniel wore his grandfather’s ring. For her part, the bride stunned in the Vivienne Westwood Galaxy Cape gown with a cinched waist and dramatic train. 

“I never could imagine what my wedding would be like and it still feels a little bit like a dream,” Daniel, 35, told People in an interview published Aug. 27. “But it’s real. It’s happening!.”

As for Britt, also 35, the wedding was everything she envisioned for her big day.  

 

“I was never the little girl that had big dreams of a fairy-tale wedding,” she added. “So when I describe our wedding, I want it to feel like an abundance of love connecting everyone there!”

Alongside Britt stood her wedding party which included fellow DWTS dancer Hayley Erbert, who served as her maid of honor, and DWTS season 29 partner Johnny Weir

 The DWTS family went all out for the nuptials as co-hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, judge Derek Hough, pros Rylee Arnold, Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Brandon Armstrong, Whitney Carson, Jenna Jonhson and more were among the 110 guests in attendance. Meanwhile, Daniel—who has been deaf since birth—had the support of his CODA costars Marlee Matlin and Troy Kotsur at the star-studded affair.

The couple exchanged their vows in American Sign Language as Daniel’s childhood interpreter Doug Boen-Bailey, interpreted the ceremony for him. 

 

Following the wedding, the newlyweds took to the dancefloor where they shared their first dance to Benson Boone’s “Forever and a Day” and as an added surprise, Britt brought in specialist who interpret music for the deaf community that signed songs throughout the night. 

 

As for the sprawling ranch location, outside of Los Angeles, the newlyweds felt it was the perfect venue to bring their family and friends together.

“We want to feel the connection between the both of us, our family, our closest friends and the nature that will surround us!” Britt said. “Our vision for our wedding was to really celebrate and experience the love that we have created and continue to create with each other!”

 

As for what’s next for the couple—who got engaged in December 2023—they are looking forward to dancing together through the next phase of their relationship.

“The next chapter for us is all about growth and building,” Britt told People. “We really want to continue to evolve as individuals but prioritize our family and what we are creating together. That means everything…a family, a home, etc. We also want this next chapter to allow us to enjoy each other too. Have fun, life is short!”

For the singer, Rory—who, growing up, she only knew as her cousin’s best friend before they reconnected in 2017—changed her outlook on love.
