David Beckham is still kicking it despite his recent hospitalization.

The retired professional soccer player—who recently sought medical attention—stepped out in London on June 30 for Wimbledon 2025 to watch Carlos Alcaraz take on Fabio Fognini in first round of the tennis tournament. David enjoyed the match from the prestigious Royal Box alongside his mother Sandra Beckham and former professional football player and manager Gareth Southgate. Also spotted? His appearance at Wimbledon comes three days after Victoria Beckham revealed that the 50-year-old had been in the hospital for an issue concerning his arm, as she posted a photo of David sporting a large blue arm sling and hospital gown. The Spice Girls star, who shares Brooklyn Beckham, 26, Romeo Beckham, 22, Cruz Beckham, 20, and Harper Beckham, 13, with David, captioned the June 27 Instagram Story, which also showed him in a hospital bed, “Get well soon daddy.”

Amid the well-wishes, David returned home, with Victoria posting another pic of the athlete wearing a beaded “GET WELL SOON” bracelet.

Just two days later, David proved his ailment was nothing to worry about during a June 29 appearance in Atlanta to watch the team he co-owns, Inter Miami CF, play in a FIFA Club World Cup match, where he explained, “It’s not as bad as it looks.”

“I had surgery a couple of days ago,” he clarified to DAZN Football during an interview. “I broke my arm, if you remember, 23 years ago playing for England in South Africa. I had a screw put in. The screw needed to be taken out, and a couple of days ago I had it, well, kind of taken out.”

He also explained why his finger was bandaged up, noting, “I’ve also got a splinter that I had in there for about three years, so I had that done at the same time.”

And it seems that David is on the road to recovery, as his sling was notably missing at the June 30 tennis match just one day after the interview, where he added that he hoped to retire it sometime “in the next two days.”

Ultimately, he shared he should be back to normal in no time. As he put it, “It’s all good.”
