Don Lemon is setting the record straight.
After Kanye West accused him of starting a rumor that the rapper and his wife Bianca Censori got kicked out of the 2025 Grammys, the former CNN anchor shared a message denying the allegation.
“First of all, Kanye, Yee, Ye, whatever your name is,” Don said in a video shared to his YouTube channel Feb. 3, “I did not start a rumor about you being kicked out of the Grammys. I actually corrected it.”
In fact, the 58-year-old—who interviewed stars on the red carpet before the show kicked off—said someone in Kanye’s inner circle specifically requested that he help clarify that the rapper was not escorted out. As Don explained, “I saw someone on your team who asked me to correct it because it had been reported everywhere.”
Closing out his message, the journalist urged Kanye to “get all your s–t straight.”
Speculation that Kanye and Bianca—who tied the knot in December 2022—got kicked out of the Grammys began swirling when the couple left shortly after walking the red carpet, where Bianca turned heads by posing completely naked. However, E! News learned that the rumor was not true, and the pair had simply gotten in the car and left.
The following day, Kanye shut down the theory as well, writing in a since-deleted message that he believed Don was responsible for spreading the idea.
Alongside a photo of the journalist, the “Gold Digger” rapper captioned an Instagram post, per People, “This goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies [sic],”
And while Kanye himself has confirmed he wasn’t kicked out of the annual award show, he still hasn’t shared exactly why he left before the start of ceremony, where he was nominated for Best Rap Song.
But he hasn’t stayed totally silent on the events that unfolded inside Los Angeles’ Crypto.com arena, either. In another since-deleted message, Kanye celebrated one of the night’s biggest winners, Kendrick Lamar, who took home the trophies for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Song and Best Music Video.
Alongside a photo of the “Not Like Us” rapper cradling his Grammys, Kanye wrote, “Gemini season.”
