French Montana has given his beloved an unforgettable gift.
Following news that the rapper (real name Karim Kharbouch) is engaged to Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra Mohammed Rashed Al Maktoum, the couple showed off the massive engagement ring Sheikha received.
The ring boasts a huge, emerald cut diamond bordered by a ring of smaller diamonds embedded into the band. Sheikha Mahra and French showed off her new bling on Instagram August 29, captioning the post with a white heart and sparkle emoji.
The couple’s engagement was confirmed by French’s rep to TMZ on August 27. The “Unforgettable” rapper popped the question to the royal family member during Paris Fashion Week in June, shortly after he walked the runway for the 3.Paradis Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show, according to the outlet.
French and Sheikha Mahra, 31, were first connected in October 2024, when Sheikha Mahra shared photos giving the 41-year-old a tour of Dubai. It wasn’t until Paris Fashion Week, however, that the couple confirmed their romance after stepping out hand in hand in the City of Lights.
French, for his part, has previously been linked to Khloe Kardashian, Iggy Azalea and Rubi Rose. The daughter of the Dubai ruler, meanwhile, was previously married to Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum—with whom she shares a 15-month-old daughter—before she announced their divorce in July 2024 on social media, accusing him of infidelity.
“Dear Husband,” she wrote. “As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, I Divorce You.”
The royal added, “Take care. Your ex-wife.”
According to the BBC, the three-time repetition of “I divorce you” was a likely reference to the Islamic practice known as triple talaq. Though banned in many countries, the outlet reported, the practice traditionally allows a husband to instantly divorce his wife by saying the words three times.
And though it is only men who are allowed to invoke the practice, Sheikha Mahra hinted that her split had been made official shortly after her original declaration.
One month later, she shared a snap with her daughter, which she captioned, “Just the two of us.”
