‘Emily in Paris’ Season 5 Trailer Pits Rome Against Paris

Emily Cooper is embarking on a new and exciting adventure in Rome for season five, but she quickly finds herself being pulled back to her Paris life in the full Emily in Paris trailer.

First look images also released on Wednesday (see those and the trailer, below), which also tease what’s in store when Emily attempts to settle into her new life in Rome. After venturing to Rome in season four, season five sees Emily spending more time in Italy, also journeying to Venice.

All 10 episodes release Dec. 18 on Netflix.

Here’s the season five logline: “Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city. But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires, and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks. Seeking stability, Emily leans into her French lifestyle, until a big secret threatens one of her closest relationships. Tackling conflict with honesty, Emily emerges with deeper connections, renewed clarity, and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.”

Emily in Paris is created by writer/executive producer Darren Star. Executive producers include Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Stephen Brown, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss and Joe Murphy.
