Hailie Jade is losing herself in the joy of parenthood.
After all, she’s had the perfect partner in husband Evan McClintock as the pair have navigated becoming mom and dad to 3-month-old son Elliott Marshall McClintock. And on Father’s Day, Hailie—daughter of Eminem and his ex Kim Scott—made sure to make her appreciation known.
“Watching you become a father has been the most beautiful experience,” she captioned her June 15 tribute to Evan. “These first 3 months have been full of love, late nights, and learning together—and I truly can’t imagine doing any of it without you. Happy first Father’s Day.”
In the series of images were photos of Evan with his son, including one where Evan posed alongside Elliott—who for his part was looking at his father with a sweet smile on this face—and a second in which Evan held Elliott in front of a TV playing golf. In Evan’s other hand was a stuffed toy with the words, “Baby’s First Golf Bag” stitched across.
Hailie also included a snapshot of the family of three in bed, the mom holding her son close as she and Evan both gazed adoringly at their little one. And over a picture of Evan and Elliott shared to her Instagram Story, the 29-year-old wrote, “My favorite boys.”
In the months since welcoming Elliott, Hailie has been sure to share the occasional glimpses into life at home as a new mom.
Among her updates was a video chronicling her growing baby bump during her pregnancy with Elliott. She captioned the May 11 post, which also included clips of her son’s first weeks of life, “Growing you has been the greatest gift of my life. Thank you for making me your mommy baby boy.”
And the family of three have a number one fan in Hailie’s father, Eminem(real name Marshall Mathers). After all, when his daughter’s first wedding anniversary fell on the same date as one of his shows, the rapper made sure to share a special shoutout onstage.
“Long time, no see, Detroit,” Eminem said in a clip shared to social media after performing with Jelly Roll. “One more time, make some noise for Jelly Roll, y’all. Hailie and Evan, happy anniversary, I love y’all.”
The day was a special one for Hailie, too, writing on Instagram that as she thought back to “the easiest decision” she said she’s ever made: becoming Evan’s wife.
“Cheers to this last year and choosing each other for the rest of our lives,” she captioned her May 18 post, which featured photos from the pair’s nuptials. “Happy anniversary.”
