Kevin Connolly is living larger than ever.
The Entourage alum proposed to his longtime girlfriend Zulay Henao, with whom he shares 4-year-old daughter Kennedy, during a Fourth of July gathering in his hometown of Long Island, New York.
“It was intimate, personal and so full of love,” the bride-to-be said of the proposal in an interview with People published July 8. “Having Kennedy there made it unforgettable.”
During the romantic moment, Kevin, 51, presented Zulay, 46, with a custom emerald-cut diamond ring set on a gold band and designed by KC Sukamto, according to the outlet. Afterwards, the couple celebrated the milestone with fireworks and an intimate dinner with their family.
Kevin and Zulay’s seven-year relationship began after they met while filming season two of the Crackle drama The Oath in 2018. Three years later, they announced they were expecting their first baby together, with Zulay posting a photo on Instagram baring her growing belly along with the caption, “18 weeks.”
After welcoming their daughter in June 2021, the actress shared her early observations about her new arrival.
“She’s really sweet and patient so far, not too much crying, just really curious about her surroundings,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post at the time. “I just watch in awe. She also has a huge appetite like her momma.”
And it seems both mom and dad got the hang of parenthood in no time.
“Mother’s Day was probably created after seeing how you do it,” Kevin said of Zulay in a May 2023 Instagram tribute. “Kennedy and I love and appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.”
Likewise, Zulay recently praised her partner for “daddying beautifully.”
“Happy Father’s Day Papi,” she wrote on Instagram to mark the occasion in June. “We love you babe, thank you for being our home!”
