From TikTok to Wicked, there’s a theme for everyone this season of Dancing With the Stars.
During the Sept. 18 premiere of the new Dancing With the Stars OfficialPodcast hosted by Bachelor alum and DWTS season 33 winner Joey Graziadei, he revealed the themes for each week of the current 34th season, which premiered Sept. 16.
Joey gave the full rundown on the episode, joined by the competition series’ cohosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro. Week 2 will see the return of One Hit Wonder Night, while Week 3 will be a brand new theme—TikTok Night.
“I feel like we need this,” Julianne shared of the new theme, before Joey alluded to contestants Alix Earle and Secret Lives of Mormon Wives‘ Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, adding, “We’ve got a lot of TikTokers this season.”
Week 4 will be the always popular Disney Night, which Joey called, “a classic, one of my favorites,” followed by Week 5 as Dedication Night, where the stars get to choose a person, group or organization to honor. Joey called the theme “another one of my favorites.”
The weekly Tuesday night episodes on ABC will continue with Week 6—which Joey noted “might break the internet”—as Wicked night, airing Oct. 21, a month ahead of the film’s sequel For Good‘s release.
Week 7 will be Halloween night, airing three days before the holiday, and Week 8 will be Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night.
For the last regular-season episode prior the finals, Episode 9 will be a DWTS Birthday Party. Joey explained, “This is a special one. It is the 20th birthday party in celebration of our 20th year on air.”
Week 10’s semi-final episode will honor a certain “Purple Rain” singer with Prince Night, to which Alfonso excitedly quipped, “That is my night. That’s my night,” adding he’s already planning his fashion choices for the Nov. 18 episode, saying, “I got some outfits over here.”
Week 11 will then conclude the series as the three-hour finale. As for how things will turn out, Alfonso believes it’s anyone’s game.
“At the end of the day, it’s a different vibe than any other season that I can remember, where there’s this many people who can absolutely win,” he shared, adding of the premiere episode, “They all brought it.”
