Update
6:41 AM PT — United States Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro tells TMZ … “It’s time we start taking crime more seriously irrespective of the age of the criminal. No longer can we coddle criminals while innocent victims are being assaulted and maimed as young violent criminals avoid consequences. It’s time for this to end.”
Donald Trump is furious about what he sees as out-of-control violence in Washington, D.C. — and he’s pointing to a specific case that’s really hitting home for him!
47 is super pissed that former DOGE stafferEdward “Big Balls” Coristine was savagely beaten by a bunch of juveniles in D.C. over the weekend and now he’s threatening to federalize the nation’s capital. Elon Musk was the head of DOGE — the Department of Government Efficiency — before exiting the administration after having a falling out with Trump.

In a Truth Social post Tuesday, Trump went off on local officials, saying teen gang members had taken over D.C. and are “randomly attacking, mugging, maiming, and shooting innocent Citizens.”
He added that if D.C. didn’t get its act together he would be forced to take federal control of the city to put criminals on notice because “they’re not going to get away with it anymore.” Trump also cited the assault of “Big Balls” and posted a bloody photo of Coristine after the beatdown.
According to a police report obtained by TMZ, “Big Balls” was with his significant other, Emily Bryant, near his vehicle in D.C. in the early morning hours Sunday. Police say a group of 10 juveniles confronted them and said something about stealing their car.
Cops say “Big Balls” shoved Bryant inside the vehicle and turned toward the assailants, who began brutally assaulting him. Officers on patrol witnessed the assault and arrested 2 of the suspects, while police say the other attackers ran away with one stolen item — an iPhone worth $1,000.
Fun fact … Coristine once revealed on Fox News he made a joke on LinkedIn using the nickname “Big Balls” because he said people take themselves too seriously. Coristine currently works for the Social Security Administration and previously held a job with DOGE, according to Politico.
