Mia Talerico is all grown up.

The 16-year-old, who played the titular baby in Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie, started her junior year of high school on Aug. 20.

“First day of 11th grade,” Mia wrote on a chalkboard sign in an Instagram photo, adding in the caption of her post, “Wish me good luck.”

Needless to say, many fans felt like it was just yesterday Mia was a toddler on the Disney Channel show, which ran for four seasons from 2010 to 2004.

“Anyone else feel very old rn?” one Instagram quipped, with a second writing in the comments section, “That’s so crazyyy we literally all watch her grow up.”

A third fan added, “This is really the same charlie i grew up watching. im 22 now.”

Also starring Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Bradley Steven Perry, Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer, Good Luck Charlie centered around the Duncan family, who would make video diaries to give to baby Charlie when she is older.

Over the years, the cast remained close. In fact, they reunited for Bridgit’s engagement party to Griffin Cleverly back in 2019, with Jason—who played Charlie’s oldest brother—describing it as a “wild” experience.

“It was so strange because we all knew her,” he said of Mia in an E! News interview last year, “and she was looking at us like she knew she was supposed to know who we were but genuinely did not know who we were. It was like, ‘Oh right, her brain was still forming when we were carrying her around the set.”

He continued, “This is a human being that has grown up and has their perspective on things. It was good, but it’s scary.”

“It’s great,” he raved. “She’s doing things that make her happy and that’s honestly all you can ask for in this life.”
