Jaden Smith‘s infamous house hat is opening doors.
In fact, his mom Jada Pinkett Smith was head over heels about the unique headpiece, which the 26-year-old recently wore alongside a black Louis Vuitton suit to the 2025 Grammys.
Sharing a photo of Jaden and his sister Willow Smith, 24, in their coordinating raven-colored looks, the Red Table Talk alum wrote on Instagram Feb. 2, “!Period!”
Many of Jada’s friends agreed, with Lena Waithe writing in the comments section, “They won. OKAY!”
Meanwhile, Chrissy Teigen called Jaden and Willow an “inspiration.”
“You both have the most incredible kids,” she wrote to Jada, who shares Jaden and Willow with Will Smith. “It’s just so cool to see.”
However, Jaden’s castle hat also left some fans scratching their heads. “Sorry the house thing is just dumb,” one Instagram user commented, while another asked, “What’s the house for? Serious question.”
So, what’s the story behind Jaden’s hat? Made by ABODI Transylvania in collaboration with artist Szilveszter Makó, the giant piece—shaped like a multi-story building complete with spires and windows—is a “bold, modern design inspired by Transylvanian history and the vampire legends of the Bathori,” according to the fashion label.
“The now famous ABODI Transylvania Vampire Castle serves as a symbol of audacity, fortitude, and an embrace of folklore and legends,” the brand’s founder Dora Abodi continued in a Feb. 2Instagram post. “It functions as a medium to recall one’s childhood and to retain a sense of playfulness and borderless creativity in relation to shapes, fabrics, concepts, colors, textures, fashion, and art.”
Calling Jaden “brave & bold” for bringing the work of art to life, the designer added of the headwear, “It facilitates the establishment of creative partnerships and the cultivation of individuals who serve as sources of inspiration and motivation.”
